🕺🏾About Perreira
Born and raised in London, professional dancer- Perreira de Jesus Franque, has trained and performed extensively for over 10 years in many dance genres. During these years, he trained in many styles of Bachata throughout Europe and Spain, but also has experience in Salsa, Bachata, Ballet, Contemporary, Commercial, Hip Hop, Tap, Jazz, and Latin Ballroom.
You can find him teaching Bachata all over the UK in cities such as London, Bristol, Liverpool, and Birmingham. He is a graduate of Performers' College, United Kingdom, where he majored in Dance.
Now on a World Tour as a professional contemporary dancer, we're lucky to have him in Chicago to help us grow in our dance journeys. This is a rare and unique opportunity to be able to train with someone both trained in European Bachata, but also with such a technical dance background.
🏆His credits include: Matthew Bourne's World Tours- '22-'23 Sleeping Beauty International Tour, '23-'24 Edward Scissorhands International Tour, '24-'25 Swan Lake International Tour. Music Videos/TV/Film Performances: The Brit Awards 2021 (Dua Lipa, Milan Summer Festival (Kendrick Lamar), The Games ITV, The Euros Closing Ceremony(Wembley Stadium), Beauty & The Beast.

Maria's formal dance training began at the age of 9. She began dabbling in many styles of movement including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Hip hop, Cheerleading, and Ballroom in her youth.
Now specializing in Bachata Sensual, Maria has been perfecting this dance for over 10 years. She's been traveling non-stop nationally & internationally; seeking training with the best European-trained instructors in the world. Her motto is that “the training never stops.” She has invested in countless private lessons, intensive trainings, and workshops. She also holds certifications by the creators of Bachata Sensual- Korke & Judith (Spain), as well as Daniel & Desiree.(Spain)
Maria is deeply invested in your journey as a dancer, truly wants to see you thrive, and hopes to show you how you can enjoy every part of the process.
🏆Her Credits Include: Dance Fitness instructor for over 10 years, Directed/Choreographed student performances at the University of Notre Dame (2018-2019), Performed with La Fuerza Dance Company (2017-2020). Sensual Movement Elite Dancer (2021-present), Bachata Sensual teaching experience (Chicago, South Bend), Nationally- festivals/weekenders (Houston Loves Bachata, Sensual Movement Orlando Festival, Big Salsa Festival Orlando, Tampa, etc.) and even internationally (Punta Cana Latin Beach Fest).
